Check Out Our 2024 Annual Christmas Toy & Winter Gear Giveaway! We’re overjoyed to share the highlights from our recent Annual Christmas Toy & Winter Gear Giveaway in collaboration of YMC Dorchester! Thanks to the incredible generosity of our volunteers, donors, and community members, we made the holiday season brighter for 200 children in our community. Together, we distributed: 200 toys to bring joy and excitement, 100 sets of gloves, hats, and scarves to keep kids warm, and 100 coats to help families face the winter weather. We delivery the resources, programs, and services to schools, community centers, and other nonprofits in the Boston metropolitan area. About Us Bridge Of Boston Community Works started offering services in 2022. On March 22 of 2023, Bridge Of Boston Community Works was formed by Felicia Teruel, a minority Woman of Color from the Dorchester area, and got certified as an 501.c3. as well. Since then, Bridge of Boston Community Works had served over 500 families in the communities of Dorchester, Mattapan, Roxbury and Roslindale. Our mission is to empower underserved and minority communities by bridging them with equitable access to education, wellness, and career resources.     BOBCW Teen Dreamers Academy (COMING SOON) Duration Enroll < Back About the Course BOBCW Dreamers Get to Experience This is a Leadership Development and College Career Program. Generally, each course iteration is a minimum of eight hours but can be a week-long program with blocks of instruction and demonstrations at a local field office. Students are provided with several presentations on topics including Inspirational guest speakers with immersive presentations, and the day-to-day operations. Career activities ranging from all Law Enforcement,University, and organizations. Entrepreneurship,STEM, Scholarship and Grant application Assistance. Networking opportunities and placement. Teens will Develop leadership skills and civic engagement among teens. Each Teen will get Prepared for post-secondary education and career opportunities. This Program was created to Empower teens to take on leadership roles, foster a sense of responsibility, and enhance community involvement.Increase college enrollment rates, provide career guidance, and equip students with the skills needed for future success. We’re seeking potential Dreamers with a winning combination of attributes strong character, positive attitude and persistence to take advantage of opportunities.
